Priority Mail(with tracking)takes 15-30 days to arrive ,depending on destination. The shipping price i have is just an estimation-it could be less for inside Europe ,or more for some distant country.Wait for my invoice ,after the auction is completed-it will have the correct shipping price for your country. Thank you for understanding and accepting this condition. I am selling it AS IS-as a vintage collectible lens -WITH NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS. Please be reasonable about the condition of this item-it is a nice condition lens-but over 80 years old.so it cannot look like something you buy new. Selling vintage lenses is always tricky-what some see as a beautiful lens from the history of photography-other will consider a junk, just because it does not look as a lens you buy new. However, this is a vintage used lens-a few specs of dust inside or very faint traces of use on glass are possible-but nothing bad ,to be worried about. Glass is in used but overall nice condition-with no major issues no fungus, haze, scratches or such other major problems. This is the rarer type that has a focusing mount(most of the 17mm Meyer Trioplan are fixed focus)-the focussing ring is working-but it turns a bit harder than it should-a re-lube won,t hurt-but it can be also used in it,s current condition. Have a good look at the pictures and judge for yourself its condition. C mount (m25 thread mount)-for 16mm cine cameras(this type of early German made Meyer lenses were usually found on the Bolex 16mm cameras) The lens is in used but overall OK condition-it has faint traces of use on it,s body-but nothing to be worried about. Meyer Gorlitz TRIOPLAN 17mm F2,8 A 1940,s German made lens. Have a look at my other auctions to see them all. Here are a few sample photos all taken at f/2.8 (the jpg files are straight from the camera, no correction or post processing applied, full resolution JPG files available on flickr): 2 cm or 0.7 in. You also have to make sure you leave enough space in the background in order to get that “soap bubble bokeh”. The problem is that at 1.1m, a 100mm lens at f/2.8 has a depth of filed of approximately. In order to get the “soap bubble bokeh”, Meyer-Optik recommends using the lens at 1.1m, wide open at f/2.8, with the background at approximately 5-10 meters away:įor me, the easiest way to use the lens was to set the focus at the minimum 1.1m, aperture wide open at f/2.8 and actually move the camera back and forth while monitoring the screen in live view for the best focusing distance (focus bracketing). You will need LiveView and this is the only, not so easy way, to focus the Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 lens. I will not recommend using this lens on a Leica M9/M-E or a film M camera because you basically won’t be able to focus correctly. The lens has no rangefinder coupling and focus peaking cannot be activated because this is a low-contrast lens. The Meyer-Optik Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 lens has a simple 3 elements design:
